Want RoleProspector to use AI?

AI can review jobs against your resume and preferences and explain why a job may be a good fit.

You don't need AI to use RoleProspector. If you choose to use it, you bring your own AI provider and connect it to RoleProspector.

STEP 1

Choose an AI provider.

RoleProspector can use OpenAI or Claude to review jobs. Not sure which to choose? OpenAI is a simple place to start.

STEP 2

Get your private key.

Your AI provider gives you a private key that lets RoleProspector use its AI service for you. This key is not your ChatGPT or Claude password. Keep it private.

Use OpenAI

A good place to start.

Open OpenAI
  1. Create or sign in to your OpenAI account.
  2. Set up billing for AI use.
  3. Create a key.
  4. When asked for permissions, choose All.
  5. Copy the key and paste it into RoleProspector.

Use Claude

Choose this if you prefer Anthropic's AI.

Open Claude
  1. Create or sign in to your Claude Console account.
  2. Add credits for AI use.
  3. Create a private key.
  4. Copy the key and paste it into RoleProspector.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your AI billing is separate.

A ChatGPT or Claude subscription does not automatically pay for use through RoleProspector. RoleProspector uses the provider's AI service separately, with its own usage and billing.

STEP 3

Connect your AI to RoleProspector.

Once your private key is connected, RoleProspector can use your chosen AI provider to review jobs against your resume and preferences.

You control your AI account and its usage directly through your chosen provider.
