TERMS OF USE

RoleProspector Terms of Use and License Agreement

These Terms of Use and License Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of RoleProspector software and related services provided by RoleProspector LLC ("RoleProspector," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using RoleProspector, or by purchasing a RoleProspector license, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Subject to these Terms and your payment of the applicable fee, RoleProspector LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use RoleProspector for your personal job search during the license period you purchase.

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise provide your license key or the software to another person.

2. License Period and Expiration

Your license is valid for the period shown at the time of purchase. Licenses do not renew automatically.

When your license expires, you may continue to access saved jobs and other information stored on your computer, but an active license is required for features that require an active license, including starting a new job search or rechecking existing jobs.

3. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Prices and available license options are shown on the RoleProspector website at the time of purchase.

All sales are final. No refunds are available after purchase, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

4. Job Listings and Search Results

RoleProspector retrieves job listings from third-party job websites and company career sites. Listings may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, changed, or removed without notice.

RoleProspector does not guarantee that it will find every available job, find a job before it is filled or removed, or identify every job that may be relevant to you.

You are responsible for reviewing job listings and deciding whether to apply. RoleProspector does not make hiring decisions and does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

5. AI Features

AI evaluation features are optional. When you enable an AI feature, information needed to evaluate a job may be sent directly to the AI service you select.

AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it.

The AI service you choose may have its own terms and privacy policy. Your use of that service is subject to those terms.

6. Third-Party Services

RoleProspector may interact with third-party job websites, AI providers, payment providers, and other services. Those services are operated independently by third parties and may change or become unavailable.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, and availability.

7. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information when configuring and using RoleProspector and for deciding how to use the information it provides.

You may not use RoleProspector for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates applicable laws or the terms of third-party services you access through the software.

8. Intellectual Property

RoleProspector and its software, source code, documentation, branding, and associated materials are owned by RoleProspector LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant you a license to use the software. They do not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

RoleProspector is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. RoleProspector LLC does not warrant that the software will always be available, error-free, complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RoleProspector LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other similar damages arising from or related to your use of RoleProspector, including missed job opportunities, missed application deadlines, lost employment opportunities, hiring decisions, or employment outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RoleProspector LLC's total liability arising from or related to your use of RoleProspector will not exceed the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

Your license ends when the purchased license period expires. RoleProspector LLC may also terminate or suspend a license if you materially violate these Terms or use the software in an unlawful manner.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.

RoleProspector LLC reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
